Why MCh + MS ENT matters

MCh Plastic Surgery is the highest super-specialty surgical qualification in India - a 3-year post-MS programme in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery covering the full breadth of aesthetic and reconstructive work. MS ENT is a surgical Master's degree in Ear, Nose and Throat - the specialty most directly concerned with nasal anatomy, airway function, and sinus and septal pathology. For a facial-aesthetics surgeon, holding both means the structural and aesthetic dimensions of the face are understood from two independent surgical disciplines. In a field where practitioners may have attended short courses rather than completed formal training, this combination is genuinely rare.

About Fillers

What are Fillers

Cosmetic fillers, also known as dermal fillers, are non-surgical injectable treatments used to add volume and contour to the face, smooth out wrinkles and fine lines, and enhance facial features. They are made of various materials, including hyaluronic acid, collagen, and synthetic materials, and are injected into the skin to achieve the desired results. To avail best treatment you are suggested to consult the best cosmetic surgeon in delhi

Why Fillers Are Used

Fillers can be used for a variety of purposes, including:

  1. Softening wrinkles and fine lines: Cosmetic fillers can help to smooth out wrinkles and fine lines on the face, resulting in a more youthful and refreshed appearance.
  2. Enhancing facial features: fillers can be used to enhance facial features such as the cheeks, lips, and chin, adding volume and contour for a more balanced and proportionate appearance.
  3. Restoring volume to hollow areas: fillers can be used to restore volume to areas of the face that have lost fullness over time, such as the temples, cheeks, and under-eye area.

What Are The Benefits Of Fillers?

Advantages of cosmetic fillers include:

  1. Restoring volume and fullness: As we age, our skin loses volume and begins to sag, leading to wrinkles, fine lines, and hollow areas. Fillers can help to restore volume and fullness to these areas, resulting in a more youthful and rejuvenated appearance.
  2. Minimally invasive: Unlike surgical procedures, fillers are non-invasive and require no downtime, allowing patients to return to their normal activities immediately after treatment.
  3. Customizable treatment: fillers can be customized to meet each patient's individual needs and goals, allowing for a personalized treatment plan.
  4. Minimal side effects: The side effects of cosmetic fillers are generally minimal and include temporary redness, swelling, and bruising at the injection site.

Note- you should always consult the best plastic surgery clinic in Delhi, as it ensures filler treatment under the guidance of certified professionals.

FAQ's

1. What does the term ‘fillers’ mean?

Fillers are special products that are injected into various parts of the face to reduce the appearance of unwanted wrinkles, create volume, and to revitalise the skin. The major effect of fillers is lifting of a saggy face into a more youthful one.

2. How do they act?

We use hyaluronic acid fillers that act by either restoring volume or as skin boosters, depending upon the biophysical properties of each type of product. We use the Juvéderm brand of HA fillers.

3. What do they help in improving?

This non-surgical method is used to achieve:

  • Lift of sagging cheeks
  • Correction of nasolabial folds
  • Marionette lines
  • Undereye hollowness
  • Tear trough deformity
  • Correction of jowls
  • Face and neck skin rejuvenation
  • Lip augmentation
  • Non-surgical/liquid rhinoplasty

4. How long do the results last?

Results last for about 9 to 12 months; repeat injections are required to maintain the results.

5. Are there any side effects?

Being a non-invasive procedure, side effects are rare. But some of them include minor pain, redness, swelling.

6. How will I know if I need fillers?

If you are in your 30-40’s and if you have noticed sagging of face, or signs of ageing in any of the areas mentioned above then you are a suitable candidate for this procedure. Even younger(20’s) and older(40-50’s) patients may benefit from fillers in some cases; however, the decision can only be made post-consultation with our doctors and facial analysis.

7. Is it painful?

Fillers are injected via very thin needles; we apply a numbing cream before the procedure and fillers that we use have local anesthetic in the injecting syringe itself. So, it is practically painless.

8. Is it safe?

We use the best internationally acclaimed brand of Allergan Juvéderm and ours is a team of highly qualified and experienced plastic surgeons. So, yes, you are in safe hands.

9. What are the precautions I need to take?

If you are on any blood thinning medications, vitamins or herbal supplements, then you will be asked to stop them at least three days before. In case it is not possible to stop the medication, you will need to discuss this during consultation.

10. Are there any other advantages of fillers?

Yes! Here are some of them:

  1. Fillers help in achieving an overall rejuvenated, youthful look.
  2. If you are contemplating surgery and would like to go for a temporary method to see how your results will look, especially with rhinoplasty then fillers are a great option.

Hyaluronic Acid Dermal Fillers
Restores age-related volume loss with FDA-approved hyaluronic acid - fully reversible.

Hyaluronic acid is a sugar naturally present in your skin that holds water and gives youthful volume. With age, HA levels decline - producing the volume loss patterns we associate with ageing. HA fillers replace what time has taken away. We use only FDA-approved brands (Juvederm, Restylane, Belotero) and prefer cannula technique over sharp-needle injection for reduced bruising and improved safety. Critically — HA fillers are fully reversible with hyaluronidase enzyme, the only filler category with this safety profile.

AREA / 01
Cheek Augmentation
Mid-face volume restoration

Restoring mid-face volume that has descended with age. Combined with structural cheekbone enhancement using firmer HA products.

Under-eye hollow correction

The deep groove from inner corner of the eye to the cheek - typically a hereditary feature that becomes more visible with age. Highly technical area requiring experienced injector.

Best ForVisible tear trough · Tired appearance · Inherited deep groove
TechniqueCannula injection of soft HA at deep level. Conservative dose - more can be added later.
NoteMost technically demanding area. Requires significant experience.
AREA / 03

Best ForMinor dorsal irregularities · Mild asymmetry · Tip support
TechniqueStrategic HA placement. Requires advanced anatomy knowledge - vascular risk highest here.
NoteHighest-risk filler area. Reversibility critical. Discussed in detail at consultation.
Signature Technology

Cannula technique with reversible HA only.

Cannula injection significantly reduces bruising and improves safety. HA fillers are the only fully reversible category.

Filler Technology · Signature
Cannula + HA
Blunt cannula technique with hyaluronic acid only

Cannula injection uses a flexible blunt-tip cannula instead of a sharp needle, threaded through a single entry point. This dramatically reduces bruising, eliminates the risk of vascular occlusion (the most serious filler complication), and allows broader product distribution from a single entry. We use only HA fillers — never permanent or semi-permanent fillers (no PMMA, no silicone, no polylactic acid) — because HA is fully reversible with hyaluronidase enzyme if any issue arises.

FDA-approved HA filler brands only (Juvederm, Restylane, Belotero)
Cannula injection technique - reduced bruising and vascular risk
Fully reversible with hyaluronidase enzyme if needed
No permanent or semi-permanent fillers - we do not use these
Day-14 complimentary follow-up review with refinement option
Cannula vs Needle
Why cannula is safer
Cannula: blunt flexible tube through single entry point. Dramatically reduces bruising. Almost eliminates vascular occlusion risk (the most serious filler complication). Needle: sharp, multiple injections, higher complication rate. We use cannula wherever possible.
HA Reversibility
The unique safety profile
HA fillers can be dissolved with hyaluronidase enzyme in 24-48 hours if any complication or undesirable result occurs. No other filler category has this reversibility. We use HA exclusively for this reason.
Product Selection
Different HA for different anatomy
Different HA products have different cross-linking and density - structural HA for cheeks, soft HA for lips, ultra-soft for tear trough. Product selection by anatomy is critical for natural result.
Day-14 Review
Complimentary follow-up
Final filler result settles at Day 14 after initial swelling resolves. We schedule a complimentary review then - any refinement dose given at no additional charge.

Candidacy & Who This Is For

Who dermal fillers is right for - and who it isn't.

The most important conversation at consultation is the realistic outcome - what improvement is achievable for your specific concern.

Likely a good candidate
Characteristics associated with good outcomes
You have age-related volume loss or specific anatomical concern
You want restoration, not transformation
You are in good general health, not pregnant or breastfeeding
You can avoid heavy exercise and alcohol for 48 hours
You understand HA fillers last 9-18 months (not permanent)
You have realistic expectations about natural-looking outcome
You can attend Day 14 review
If this sounds like you, the consultation will likely be productive.
Likely not ready - or not right
Characteristics that may prompt "not yet" or alternative recommendation
You are pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning pregnancy within 3 months
You have active skin infection in the treatment area
You have history of severe filler allergic reaction
You expect dramatic instagram-style enhancement
You want permanent fillers - we do not offer these
You have unrealistic expectations about transformation
Recent dental work in the past 2 weeks - defer until healed
If any applies, the consultation is still worthwhile - an honest "not yet" with a clear pathway.

A note on reversibility

HA fillers are the only filler category that is fully reversible. If you do not like the result, are unhappy with the shape, or have any complication, hyaluronidase enzyme can dissolve the product in 24-48 hours. We do not use any non-reversible fillers.
